Chicago Bears (5-3) at Tennessee Titans (5-2)

1:00PM ET

At the moment, there’s a very real possibility that the Philadelphia Eagles could host a playoff game against the Chicago Bears. I would say this is a pretty crazy set of circumstances, to see Carson Wentz and Nick Foles duel it out in the postseason, but honestly it’s 2020 and apparently anything goes.

At the moment, the Bears are currently out of the playoff picture due to the Rams possessing the tiebreaker over them. However, if Chicago were to leap Los Angeles by a game at some point this season, they would sneak their way into the postseason as the third and final Wild Card team.

For what it’s worth, the Bears are a seriously bad offensive team. Despite getting some juice via Foles replacing Mitchell Trubisky, the team has really struggled to consistently move the football.

The Bears rank 29th in terms of yards per game, three spots lower than where the Eagles actually rank. Whispers of Foles moving back to the bench have started to creep up, and the organization is definitely already thinking about which QB they’re going to draft for 2021.

As cool as a Foles-Wentz showdown would be come the postseason, I fully expect the Bears to start bottoming out here, and this week’s game against the 5-2 Titans might be where that begins. Worth keeping an eye on for sure.
