JJ Arcega-Whiteside

Similar to that of Alshon, I can’t give you one single reason as to why a team would be interested in JJ Arcega-Whiteside at the moment. Maybe a scout somewhere has been really impressed by his blocking, and thinks they can covert him to tight end?

Whatever the case may be, shipping away JJAW for literally anything would be a no-brainer for the Philadelphia Eagles front office. He’s one of the biggest draft busts in franchise history, and he can barely get on the field at the moment. Fulgham, Reagor, Ward, and John Hightower are all above him in the depth chart, and it probably won’t be long before Quez Watkins passes him as well.

The Eagles could easily target wide receiver in next year’s draft too, pushing JJAW even further down the pecking order.

I find it essentially impossible that a team would give up a draft pick for Arecega-Whiteside, but maybe a player-for-player swap could be in order? One failed draft bust for another? Who knows.

dark. Next. The Philadelphia Eagles should seriously consider trading Jalen Hurts

Whatever the case may be, this is definitely a player that Howie Roseman will likely be trying his hardest to pawn off on another team. Anything in return, even a backup kicker, would be a huge “victory” at this point in time.
