Tennessee Titans

Another team that seems poised to “buy” at this year’s trade deadline, the Tennessee Titans are 5-1 and could use some help on the defensive side of the ball. Despite their impressive record, they are allowing 401.8 yards per game, the eighth largest total in the NFL at the moment.

The Titans are in prime position to repeat their iconic AFC Championship Game run of last year, but they could definitely use some reinforcements on D. Considering the fact that Will Parks is likely being made available for an extremely low price, he could be a cheap and easy depth upgrade for Tennessee to make.

Will Parks being placed on the trade block may come as an annoying move to some, but it shouldn’t be viewed as surprising. Parks was signed to a one-year deal to come in and help the Philadelphia Eagles compete for a Super Bowl. While it’s not his fault in the slightest, the Eagles are simply nowhere near that goal at the moment.

Considering the overall state of the roster, acquiring draft capital while simultaneously getting a rookie like K’Von Wallace more playing time should be at the top of the Eagles priority list. While it sucks to see Parks’ Philly career end so abruptly, his departure (and Wallace’s eventual emergence) is what’s best for a 2-4-1 team.
