A way, way better quarterback.

On paper, it’s really challenging to pinpoint an offensive position group that the Philadelphia Eagles are 100% better at than the Dallas Cowboys.

Miles Sanders is still out, and Ezekiel Elliot is definitely better than Boston Scott. The Cowboys arguably have the best receivers in the league, their offensive line is less injured than Philly’s is, and the Eagles have suffered so many injuries to their tight end room that the Cowboys legitimately have better TEs at the moment.

However, the one position where the Eagles are undoubtedly superior at heading into Sunday is quarterback. Carson Wentz‘ play was the main reason the team secured the NFC East last season, as he out-dueled Dak Prescott pretty profoundly in Week 16. Wentz has a much easier task facing him his upcoming weekend, as he simply has to be better than former seventh-round pick Ben DiNucci.

Wentz struggled early on this year, but has found his rhythm the last couple of weeks. He delivered an iconic comeback performance against the Giants last Thursday, and that momentum should hopefully carry into Week 8.

Even with all of the Cowboys own respective injuries, I would still make the argument that they have the more “complete” offense at the moment. However, Wentz is way, way better than DiNucci.

In the NFL, the team with the superior quarterback normally walks away with the W on Sundays.
