Trading Brandon Graham while his value is peaking.

Switching gears into more of a “selling” mindset, this idea only remains relevant if the Philadelphia Eagles lose their Week 8 matchup against the Cowboys. If the team does in fact fall to a record of 2-5-1, the organization needs to do a complete 180 and begin offloading veterans as fast as possible.

As much as it stings to imagine a world where Brandon Graham is no longer on the Eagles, he is without question the team’s most valuable asset at the moment.

Graham is third in the entire NFL in sacks with 6.0, and he continues to be an absolute menace in the run game. He’s already posted 21 tackles, 9 TFLs, and 10 QB hits, and it doesn’t seem like he’s slowing down anytime soon either. His game-winning strip sack against the Giants was the icing on the cake for what’s been a seriously impressive seven weeks for BG.

Contending teams are always looking to improve their pass rush, and Graham would likely fetch a haul on the open market. A few weeks ago I thought he would be worth a third, now I’m thinking more like a second.

Again, this only makes sense if the Eagles lose to Ben DiNucci and the Cowboys on Sunday.
