Philadelphia Eagles -4.5 Spread (-108)

I know what you’re thinking already. The Philadelphia Eagles are 1-4-1 this year and are 2-4 against the spread in those games. Why should I bet on them not only to win, but cover tonight?

All of this being true, there is one thing that can be said about the Philadelphia Eagles: they are different on Thursday night.

Since Doug Pederson was hired as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2016, they have played in five Thursday night games. They are 5-0 straight up in those games and 5-0 against the spread. Two of those Thursday night games have come against the New York Giants, a home game in 2016 and an away game in 2018.

It is really interesting to see how prepared Doug Pederson has his teams when it comes to Thursday night games. They’ve had tough matchups, such as the Carolina Panthers in 2017 and the Green Bay Packers in 2019. They’ve won them all. They’ve covered them all.

Next. 5 potential linebacker trades. dark

There’s just something different about the Philadelphia Eagles and Thursday night games. And this week, I’ll put my money on them to cover this one tonight.
