Carson Wentz is ever so slowly returning to form.

He showed flashes of it against Cincinnati and Washington, but tonight was the first time I’ve seen Carson Wentz really look like the franchise QB we all know he is capable of being. He was playing with absolutely nothing at WR, TE, and O-Line, and yet he still managed to deliver when it mattered most.

He was specifically great on his feet, rushing for 37 yards and a TD. He had a handful of plays where he escaped multiple San Francisco pass-rushers, in a manner which looked eerily similar to that of his 2017 days.

His best moment came in the fourth quarter, when he dialed up a beauty of a long ball to Travis Fulgham down the sideline. It was a perfect pass, and Fulgham managed to keep both feet inbounds as he stumbled his way into the end zone.

It wasn’t some wild MVP-esque performance, as 193 passing yards and 2 TDs is nothing to write home about, but it’s a serious step in the right direction.

Hopefully, as this beaten up Eagles offense starts to get healthier over the coming weeks, we get to see more positive things out of #11 .
