The Eagles could use some exciting linemen moving forward.

I’m not going to sit here and tell you that the Eagles offensive line will play well on Sunday, because they won’t. However, there’s reason to believe that not all is lost when it comes to the future projection of this group.

Current starting RG Nate Herbig has impressed me a ton through his first three weeks of NFL action, and one can only hope that he continues along that track. He was easily the team’s best O-lineman against Washington, and executed some key blocks in the run game against Los Angeles. He’s an absolute mountain of a man who eats up a ton of space, and as he continues to improve in pass protection, there might be a genuine future with him moving forward.

Despite looking like the heir apparent following his start during last year’s playoff game, Matt Pryor has gotten off to a rough start here in 2020. He was seemingly booted from the rotation prior to Week 1, and then had a costly penalty during the team’s tie to Cincy.

Jordan Mailata will also make his first career start on Sunday, I talked about that more in depth here: “Philadelphia Eagles: Jordan Mailata could end up being the ultimate feel good story.”
