Jalen Reagor lived up to the hype.

It didn’t take long for rookie WR Jalen Reagor to announce his presence on Sunday, as he cooked Ronald Darby over the top for a monster 55-yard gain on third and long. His speed was put on full display, and his ability to track a deep ball was something Philadelphia Eagles fans have been dreaming about for years.

Reagor finished with just the one catch, but he should’ve had another monster gain along with it if him and Wentz had connected on another open deep ball. With the first half winding down, Reagor once again got behind the Washington secondary, streaking into open space with nothing but green grass in front of him.

Reagor didn’t make the catch, but it one again showcased just how fast the former TCU wideout is moving down the field. This won’t be the last time they send him out on streaks, and him and Wentz will likely connect next time.

It wasn’t all perfect for Reagor in his debut, as he probably could have prevented an interception had he played the ball better in the second quarter, but it was still enough to gets fans excited moving forward. Reagor is in fact really fast, and that’s exactly why the team drafted him.
