The Eagles might have the worst O-Line in the league.

This isn’t an over-exaggeration in the slightest, the Philadelphia Eagles might genuinely have the worst offensive line in all of football this year.

After years and years of stability at the position, the team’s O-Line group has completely gone up in flames over the last couple of months. All-Pro right guard Brandon Brooks went down to an achilles injury over the summer, last year’s first-round pick Andre Dillard tore his biceps, Jason Peters had to “switch” positions just days before Week 1, Lane Johnson had secret ankle surgery just a few weeks ago, and 2018 draft pick Matt Pryor appears to have been completely cut out of the rotation despite getting starting snaps all training camp.

There are very few things you can’t overcome when it comes to the National Football League, but a bad offensive line is certainly one of them. Washington recorded 8.0 total team sacks this afternoon, and Wentz was on the receiving end of some truly nasty hits.

The Eagles couldn’t get the run game going at all either, and it ultimately allowed a garbage Washington secondary to absolutely feast on poor decisions created by Wentz getting his skull crushed into the ground every play.

Even with Lane Johnson back (if he does return sometime soon), this is a group that will struggle every single week.
