Eagles O-Line vs Washington pass rush

The Washington Football Team doesn’t have a whole lot on their roster in terms of talent, but the one positional group where they reign supreme is their defensive line. With the addition of the previously mentioned Chase Young, Washington’s D-Line projects to be one of the better pass rushing units in the league in 2020.

Jonathan Allen, Daron Payne, Matthew Ioannidis, Montez Sweat, Ryan Kerrigan, and Ryan Anderson are all names at least worth having to game plan for when it comes to Week 1.

Normally, the Philadelphia Eagles wouldn’t have to worry about something like this due to the fact that they’ve had one of the most stable O-Line groups in the league the last few seasons. However, due to some crippling injuries this offseason, that security isn’t necessarily there anymore.

Last year’s first-round pick Andre Dillard is out with a biceps tear, All-Pro RG Brandon Brooks is out with an achilles injury, Lane Johnson is just now returning to practice, and the depth behind 38 year old LT Jason Peters is seriously concerning.

If Washington’s D-Line is as ferocious as it looks on paper, it could be a long day for Carson Wentz back in the pocket.
