Conclusion

None of the above mentioned options are all really that enticing, and none of them will compare to having Dillard and Peters on the field at the same together. The Philadelphia Eagles were already facing a difficult season with their offensive line seeing as Brooks would be out, the loss of Dillard just adds to that burden even more.

Peters had a really good 2019 season at LT, so the general consensus is that he should have no real problem filling back in at his natural position. The main concern is regarding his health, as he’s been known to take multiple plays off during games.

The Eagles have invested a lot onto Mailata over the last few seasons, but expecting him to come in and act as a serviceable swing tackle seems a bit foolish considering he’s never logged an actual NFL snap before. Previously mentioned guys like Driscoll and Tega-Wanogho look promising, but again, neither have played an actual NFL down before.

Next. Philadelphia Eagles: 3 winners and losers from training camp thus far. dark

The Philadelphia Eagles need to add depth to their o-line and they need to do it rapidly. The season is just a few weeks away and whoever they bring in is going to need time to get up to speed with the team’s blocking schemes. Howie Roseman has become famous for his late offseason moves, however this time, I’m not feeling all that confident that he’s going to be able to work his way out yet another jam.
