Luke Juriga, C

Considering the Philadelphia Eagles made center Luke Juriga their highest paid UDFA this offseason ($116,000), I would almost go as far as saying that the former Western Michigan offensive lineman is a lock to make the final roster.

The Eagles love their o-line depth, and they proved it yet again this summer as they went and added a total of four rookie linemen (Driscoll, Tega-Wanogho, Juriga, Good-Jones). The Philadelphia front office has proven time and time again that they’re willing to make space on their roster for developmental line projects, and Juriga projects to be the next guy to take on that role.

A four-year starter at Western Michigan, Juriga actually didn’t miss a single start during his collegiate career. He played games at both center and right guard, making the All-MAC First Team at both positions.

The Eagles are staring down a potential Jason Kelce retirement in the near future, and they have to start planning for life without him moving forward. The team signed UDFA center Nate Herbig last year as well, as they’ve started to accumulate a few guys who could take on the starting center job  in 2021.

In terms of Juriga’s time at training camp, he was the main center being used with the offensive line’s second team (over Herbig). That’s pretty significant for his stock moving forward.
