These seven UDFAs could sneak onto the Philadelphia Eagles roster.

NFL training camp is in full-swing at the moment and the Philadelphia Eagles are no exception. The team has been practicing pretty relentlessly over the last few days, running scrimmages, performing drills, and even throwing on the pads every once in awhile.

Normally, undrafted free agents sell their value to a team during the preseason. However, with that venue of football being canceled this year due to COVID-19, these little training camp drills are really all the team has to go off of when it comes to deciding who gets cut and who doesn’t.

It’s going to be a rough year for UDFAs all over the league, but here are the seven undrafted individuals who have the best shot at cracking the Eagles roster in 2020:

Grayland Arnold, S

I’m going to keep my blurb on safety Grayland Arnold brief (since I previously wrote an in-depth piece on him earlier this month), but he is without question the highest regarded UDFA on the Eagles roster at the moment.

A DB out of Baylor University, the Eagles had a draft-able grade on him entering the 2020 NFL draft, and were quick to snatch him up once they saw he had slipped through the cracks.

Arnold recorded six interceptions and two pass breakups for Baylor last year, and the Eagles view him as a potential longterm Rodney McLeod replacement at free safety. With how much they value him, the team might rather him practice with the starters each week on the actual roster as opposed to the practice squad.
