The Philadelphia 76ers vs. the Washington Wizards (again)

The Philadelphia 76ers versus the Washington Wizards again, need I say more?

I kid, I kid… but not really.

If the Sixers somehow drop a game to the Wizards in their first contest, then this could serve as a perfect chance to showcase how their strategy and overall team cohesion has developed over a relatively short period of time. And hey, if they won the first game, then this could be a nice chance to thoroughly dominate a familiar foe for the world to see.

Alternatively, regardless of the team’s overall record, this game would be a fantastic opportunity for Brett Brown to rest players like Joel Embiid and… okay, maybe just Joel Embiid to help preserve his strength for whatever Round 1 matchup Philly draws.

My goodness, could we actually see Zhaire Smith and Norvel Pelle make an appearance? Could the 76ers bring Marial Shayok to the Magic Kingdom for G-League rags to NBA championship buy-in game riches? Orlando really is the happiest place on earth.

Verdict: Sixers win, duh.
