When the 2020 NFL Draft finally comes to an end, the hard work is done, right?

Wrong, that’s when the real hard work begins.

Every year, a dozen or so players land on each NFL team mere minutes after going undrafted in the hopes of continuing their professional football careers at the game’s highest level.

And of the players who very well might find themselves looking for work after the 255th overall pick’s name is called, one of my personal favorites is Washington wide receiver Aaron Fuller.

Now to be quite honest with you, I don’t get why Fuller isn’t getting more love in this albeit loaded draft class. I mean he isn’t the biggest, fastest, or strongest player around, but he just has a pension for making trick catches and game-changing plays that make you sit back and say wow.

Granted, he also has drop issues, looks lost at times, and gets bodied up when attempting to weave through traffic across the middle of the field, but what are you going to do: There’s a reason why he may go undrafted.

Whether Fuller is able to continue to develop as a full-time football player is anyone guess, as the whole process of drafting players into the NFL is really a crapshoot if we’re being honest, but when you can make the tough catches look easy, it shouldn’t be too hard to make the easy ones look easy too, right?

Regardless, I’d like to see the Eagles be the team that tries to figure that out.
