Now that draft day has finally arrived, let’s take a crack at a Philadelphia Eagles-only mock draft featuring some of our favorite potential picks and maybe even a trade.

After weeks of anticipation, dozens of Philadelphia Eagles-focused players profiles, and hundreds upon hundreds of simulated mock drafts, it’s finally here: Draft day.

Over the next three days, we will finally find out where 254 college prospects – and one ex-XFLer –  will play their NFL football.

Will Howie Roseman give fans what they want and finally deliver onto the City of Brotherly Love their first legit number one receiver since Terrell Owens suited up in midnight green for a 22- game roller coaster from 2004-05?

Who knows, maybe the team will even trade up to ensure they secure Carson Wentz a premier perimeter (or slot) target to return to his 2017 MVP form.

Or, Roseman could pull a Roseman and select yet another defensive lineman to further bolster the Birds’ defensive line, whether that be a pure defensive end like Yetur Gross-Matos, a small school stud like Curtis Weaver, an inside-out end/tackle hybrid like A.J. Epenesa, or even (yet) another defensive tackle like South Carolina‘s Javon Kinlaw if he were to take a minor tumble-down the draft board.

Historically speaking, I guess we can cross players like Patrick Queen, Kenneth Murray, and Jordyn Brooks off the board, as Roseman has never selected a linebacker in the first round in any of the 10 drafts he’s overseen since coming to power in 2010, but you know what they say: Anything can happen on draft day.

But who will the Eagles take with each of their eight picks? Honestly, beats me. Predicting anything as complicated as the NFL draft is a borderline impossible feat, especially when one factors in any number of trades that could go down. What I can humbly present to you, however, are some players in each round I particularly like both as prospects and as fits in the Eagles’ scheme, so why not put them all together in one spot (along with their full player profiles) and send it out into the world on this draft day? If you can’t beat ‘um, join ‘um.
