Sign Melvin Gordon

The Eagles reportedly inquired about Chargers RB Melvin Gordon last summer during his holdout. With the Eagles committed to a running-back-by-committee approach once again this year, the team would be wise to buy low on this talented runner.

Gordon played last season under the franchise tag, holding out into the regular season before reporting to the team after missing four games. He rushed for 612 yards and eight touchdowns while notching 42 receptions for 296 yards and a score. His stock isn’t as high as season’s past, and so long as he is willing to split carries, Gordon would be a nice addition.

The duo of Miles Sanders and Gordon would be quite an offensive force. Add in Boston Scott‘s fierceness, and you have an extremely formidable one, two, three punch.

Free agency begins March 18 with the legal tampering period set to open on March 16. There are many options on the table for Howie Roseman as he looks to revamp the Eagles roster, and this is shaping up to be an exciting time for Birds fans everywhere.

Next. Jason Peters is officially headed to free agency. dark

Stay tuned, Philadelphia Eagles fans.
