The Philadelphia 76ers are undefeated at home and if they can fix their problems on the road then they can take this season to the next level.

The Wells Fargo Center where the Philadelphia 76ers play has become a main attraction in the city. Stars like M. Night Shyamalan and Allen Iverson frequent the stadium.

The 76ers are undefeated at home so far and part of that reason is the fans. Philadelphia fans are one of the most passionate fans in the NBA.

They will let you know when you are doing well and when you are doing bad. The fans will have your back if they feel like you are giving your all. Iverson put his heart and soul out on the floor for the team and the fans supported him 100 percent.

More from Philadelphia 76ers

Aside from the fans, the role players play better when they are home. Matisse Thybulle has had recent success. He scored 13 points and had five rebounds versus the Denver Nuggets and the game before that against the Toronto Raptors he had 20 points and three steals.

The Sixers lost to the Raptors the last time they faced them and this time they needed all the help they could get to beat them. James Ennis III added 11 points.

Against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Sixers came out firing on all cylinders. Mike Scott scored 21 points and had six rebounds and Trey Burke had 21 points with eight assists.

While the Sixers have been able to beat anybody at home they haven’t been able to win the easy games away. While a better basketball team will usually win the game it is hard to win games when you have to travel constantly. Some games might slip.

They will have to have the same intensity and focus that they do at home even for those easy away games that can be overlooked in the schedule. Some of the games that stand out are games against the Washington Wizards, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Orlando Magic.

Those games have been close and the Sixers weren’t able to close the gap in the last seconds. That’s why Jimmy Butler was so valuable last year because he was a closer that could score points for them and finish games.

Butler was able to get them over the hump and win those games in the last seconds. He hit the game-winner against the Brooklyn Nets, and then he hit a game-winner against the Charlotte Hornets two teams that were considered lesser opponents than the Sixers last year.

That is something they will have to find on their team this season.

It will have to be a mixture of their three best players: Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, and Joel Embiid. Simmons will have to be able to get easy looks at the basket; Harris will have to get those easy mid-range looks and Embiid will have to be a force on the block late in games.

While they still have not found a closer yet everything still seems to work for them at home. The role players make clutch threes, the stars always play well, and they are always able to pull away late.

Next. Kyle O’Quinn is turning into a nice trade chip. dark

The Philadelphia 76ers have the home-court advantage at home that will come in handy in the playoffs and if they, can win those easy games on the road, they can put together a winning streak that will catapult them in the standings.
