Philadelphia Eagles: 4 dream trade targets at wide receiver before 2019 deadline
By Dan Parzych
The Philadelphia Eagles could be busy leading up to Tuesday’s deadline to help fill a need at wide receiver.
Since DeSean Jackson‘s return after leaving Week 2 with an injury is taking longer than expected, it only seems right for the Philadelphia Eagles to explore potential trade options at wide receiver before Tuesday’s trade deadline.
Back in Week 1 when Jackson started off in one of the hottest ways possible by catching eight passes for 154 yards with two touchdowns in a win over the Washington Redskins, the Eagles seemed like they were going to be in great shape on offense throughout 2019.
While there have been a few occasions in which Philadelphia’s offense has put together impressive performances, it’s no secret the group is also one of the most inconsistent in the NFL.
If the Eagles knew Jackson was going to be out for this long, chances are they would have made a move for another wide receiver a long time ago just to help get by until the veteran speedster was healthy enough to return.
And even though there seems to be some sort of update each week about Jackson being close to a return, Philadelphia needs to bring another playmaker on board just to be safe.
Otherwise, it’s going to be difficult for the Eagles to keep things close with the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East over the next two months since the end of December will be here before they know it.
Now that Tuesday is officially here, it’s time to take a look at four dream targets at wide receiver for Philadelphia before the trade deadline officially arrives, even if some of these players seem like long shots to land.
