After a thrilling win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 4, here are the five biggest threats in the NFC for the Philadelphia Eagles heading into Week 5.

In what turned out to be one of the biggest surprises to end September, the Philadelphia Eagles pulled off a thrilling 34-27 win over the Green Bay Packers, despite all of the injuries the team was dealing with on both sides of the football from the previous few weeks.

Following back-to-back tough losses to the Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions, the Eagles appeared to be in for a rough outing against the previously undefeated Packers team that was feeling confident in their new defense.

Instead, Philadelphia found a way to expose Green Bay’s defense with strong performances on the ground by both Jordan Howard and Miles Sanders to get back to .500 on the season while being able to enjoy a few extra days off in the process.

Up next, the Eagles will get to host the New York Jets in what should be a favorable Week 5 matchup since they are still in search of that first win in 2019, although there are obviously no guarantees when it comes to the NFL.

With one month of regular-season action officially in the books, Philadelphia is beginning to get a better understanding of which teams are the biggest threats within the NFC, and could be potential problems down the road once the playoffs arrive.

Now that four games are officially in the books, it’s time to continue the weekly tradition of taking a closer look at the five teams within the NFC that should be considered the biggest threats to the Eagles heading into Week 5.
