3. Seahawks

Isn’t it crazy to think how the Seattle Seahawks have only missed the playoffs once during the Russell Wilson era?

After coming up short last January in the playoffs to the Dallas Cowboys, the Seahawks started off the 2019 season on a hot note by winning each of their first two games, but unfortunately Seattle suffered a tough loss in Week 3 to the New Orleans Saints.

From Seattle’s perspective, hosting New Orleans in their first game without Drew Brees seemed like it would give them an advantage before Teddy Bridgewater stepped up when the Saints needed him the most to help hand the Seahawks their first loss.

No, this doesn’t necessarily mean that Seattle should hit the panic button since this was only one game, but this could end up being a loss that comes back to haunt them down the road when it comes to the NFC playoff standings.

The last thing the Seahawks want to deal with is settling for the Wild Card again instead of falling behind the Rams for the NFC West title, and it should also be noted that Philadelphia will actually host Seattle come November.

By then, the Eagles along with the rest of the teams across the NFL will have a better idea over which teams are in fact true contenders, including the Seahawks.
