Here are the five biggest threats to the Philadelphia Eagles after Week 3 of the 2019 season.

Should Philadelphia Eagles fans be concerned after watching the team drop a second loss in a row on Sunday, this time to the Detroit Lions?

The good news is as frustrating as it’s been to watch the Eagles drop each of their last two contests, there’s still plenty of time for Doug Pederson‘s team to turn things around, although the competition within the NFC should make things more interesting.

Rightfully so, expectations were high for Philadelphia entering the new 2019 season after earning trips to the playoffs in each of the previous two seasons, one of which resulted in their first Super Bowl title in franchise history.

When looking at all of the talent the Eagles were fortunate to have on both sides of the football, it was easy to make the case that Philadelphia would be one of the early favorites to make a run at the Super Bowl for the 2019 season.

But through three games, the Eagles look far from the kind of team that is built strong enough to make this dream become a reality, although things would most likely be much different if it weren’t for all the brutal injuries already taking place.

Still, when looking at all of the adjustments made by Philadelphia over the years when key injuries take place, this excuse simply won’t cut it when it comes to keeping up with the rest of the competition in the NFC.

With three games officially in the books, here’s a look at the biggest threats to the Eagles within the NFC following their Week 3 loss to the Lions on Sunday.
