3. Seahawks

Isn’t it amazing to think how the Seattle Seahawks failed to make the playoffs only once (2017 season) during the Russell Wilson era?

Year after year, the Seahawks area always viewed as one of the last teams anyone wants to face in January since they always seem to kick things into full gear late in the season when it matters the most.

Over the years, Wilson has been fortunate enough to be part of numerous great teams, and Seattle has plenty of reasons to feel confident over the current group their quarterback gets to work with.

After barely getting by the Cincinnati Bengals opening weekend, the Seahawks bounced back with a strong statement in Week 2 by handing the Pittsburgh Steelers a loss on the road, making it clear this is a playoff-caliber team.

In late November, the Eagles will get to host the Seahawks in a game that could end up having playoff implications if both teams live up to the hype over the next couple of months.

Knowing Wilson with his effective level of play, this will be another test for Philadelphia’s defense, and could be another situation where the Eagles are looking at a potential early playoff preview.
