Connection between Carson Wentz, DeSean Jackson already living up to hype
By Dan Parzych

Even though training camp just started for the Philadelphia Eagles, the connection between Carson Wentz and DeSean Jackson already seems to be living up to the hype.
Back in the offseason, the Philadelphia Eagles made numerous key moves to put the team in better position to make another run at the playoffs for a third year in a row, and one that ranked near the top of the list was bringing DeSean Jackson back for a second stint.
Despite some rumors swirling early on in the offseason about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers potentially moving on from the veteran wideout, no one in the City of Brotherly Love ever imagined that Jackson would return to the Eagles.
As every football fan knows, this turned out to be exactly the case, as Philadelphia was beyond excited to bring a speedy wideout like Jackson on board to provide Carson Wentz with a reliable deep threat to work with.
Jackson’s time with the Buccaneers may not have exactly lived up to the hype after combining for just 91 catches for 1,442 yards, and seven touchdowns in 26 games over the last two seasons, but also keep in mind he wasn’t exactly in the best position on offense.
Now that Jackson is back with the Eagles for the first time since the 2013 season when he earned a trip to the Pro Bowl, the speedster finds himself in great position to flourish in a Philadelphia offense that could end up being one of the best in the league.
Football fans can say whatever they want about the concerns surrounding Wentz after dealing with injuries over the last two seasons, but if the former first-round pick remains healthy, chances are he will be in the MVP conversation.
And if Wentz continues to click with Jackson over these next few weeks like they have so far in training camp, it’s only going to make Philadelphia’s offense that much more dangerous.
Some observations from Day 4 of Eagles' training camp: Carson Wentz had his best day, in large part because he and DeSean Jackson were really clicking. Wentz's cross-field rope -- maybe 30 yards downfield -- hit Jackson in stride. Best throw of camp so far.

Obviously, there’s a big difference between looking this good in camp compared to actual games, but how can Eagles fans contain their excitement heading into August?
Back before all of the drama took place in 2014 leading up to his release, Philadelphia fans loved Jackson, and most of them can’t wait to see what a difference his presence makes as a reliable deep threat for Wentz to take advantage of during the regular season.

Until then, Eagles fans will continue to enjoy Jackson and Wentz working on their chemistry over these next few weeks since September will be here before they know it.
