1. Can Wentz stay healthy?

Don’t act all surprised to see Carson Wentz‘s health being the No. 1 question on this list since unlike last year, the Eagles can’t fall back on Nick Foles if needed on offense, even if Nate Sudfeld seems capable of running the offense.

As debatable as it was this offseason, Philadelphia made the right choice by letting Foles hit the free agency market before signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars because in the long run, Wentz seems like the much better option.

Foles will always be considered a hero in the City of Brotherly Love for the role played in helping bring the Eagles their first Super Bowl title in franchise history, but Pederson always made it clear this was Wentz’s team.

Unlike last offseason, Wentz wasn’t feeling as much pressure to rush back to full strength for Week 1, and has looked pretty sharp at times over the last few months in which some experts believe he could even become a surprise MVP candidate.

But before jumping too far ahead with conversations such as MVP chances, the main focus for the Eagles needs to be on making sure Wentz stays healthy since this could be the most important factor over Philadelphia’s Super Bowl chances.
