5 free agent targets that could help 76ers following 2019 NBA Draft

2. Malcolm Brogdon
Malcolm Brogdon is the perfect example of just how great the second round of the draft can be when considering the Milwaukee Bucks ended up with a steal in the guard back in 2016.
Based off his production, one would assume the Bucks would do everything in their power to convince Brogdon to return, but also money seems like it could come into play in this situation.
Believe it or not, Philadelphia was considered a potential landing spot this offseason for Brogdon before the 2018-19 season even came to an end.
Whether he’s needed as a point guard when Simmons needs rest or simply a shooting guard, the fact that Brogdon can be used in a few ways shows how great this could end up working for both parties.
Numerous teams are expected to make a run at signing Brogdon, and while it may take some extra convincing, at least the Sixers have the advantage of being a serious contender in the Eastern Conference.
Despite previous eliminations in the semifinals over the last two seasons, this young Philadelphia team is still loaded with a ton of potential, and Brogdon could turn out to be a solid key factor to help them compete with some of the other top contenders.
