1. Andrew Wiggins

Remember back in 2014 when Andrew Wiggins was arguably the prime target for the Sixers in the draft before the Timberwolves somehow won the lottery, and selected the star shooting guard with the top overall pick?

Five years later, the argument can be made that Philadelphia made out better in this scenario since Embiid has worked his way into becoming one of the top centers in the league, although this doesn’t mean the team still wouldn’t welcome Wiggins with open arms.

As great as Wiggins has looked at times over the years in Minnesota, this is another player who seems replaceable on the Timberwolves, and the thought of him joining a young team on the rise like the Sixers seems to have potential written all over it.

Throwing Wiggins into the starting lineup along with two other stars in Embiid and Ben Simmons seems like it would put Philadelphia in much better position to compete against some of the other top contenders in the conference.

The Boston Celtics may be dealing with some unfortunate drama, but with the Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks expected to continue being strong contenders in the Eastern Conference, the Sixers could benefit in a big way with a player like Wiggins on the squad.
