With the 2019 NBA Draft taking place on Thursday, here are four potential trades the Philadelphia 76ers should explore.

In a matter of hours, the 2019 NBA Draft will officially be underway, and after coming up just short of advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals this past season, the Philadelphia 76ers hope to add a few key weapons from this year’s class.

For the most part, the attention surrounding the Sixers over the last couple of weeks has been on the possibility of convincing Jimmy Butler to return on a max deal since there are no guarantees the star forward will be back in the picture.

But since there won’t be any answers for a few more weeks, the main focus for Philadelphia on the moment is which players could improve their chances of moving to the next step during the 2019-20 season instead of coming up short again in the semifinals of the playoffs.

At the moment, the Sixers won’t officially be on the clock in the first round until the No. 24 pick, but with their history of trades, would it really come as a surprise if any sort of surprise moves were made before, or even during the draft?

History shows that all bets are off when it comes to draft night, and even though Philadelphia hasn’t exactly hinted at heavily pursuing any specific players through a trade, plenty of fans have thought hard about certain possibilities.

To help prepare for Thursday night’s draft, here are four players that Philadelphia should consider trading for from other teams to help fill a few needs on the roster, whether they sound like longs shots to happen or not.
