As the Philadelphia Eagles prepare for Day 2 of the 2019 NFL Draft, let’s take a look back at Day 1 and see how each NFC East teams graded out.

With the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft officially in the books, the NFC East has added six new players into the fold, each of whom their new team considers a potential game-changer.

With three players going to the New York Giants, with the sixth, 17th, and 30th-overall selections, two to the Washington Redskins, at 15 and 26, a lone player to the Philadelphia Eagles at 22, and nobody to the Dallas Cowboys because of last season’s trade deadline Amari Cooper deal, there are going to be plenty of fresh faces in the NFC East as each team attempts to reload and prepare for a chance to compete for a postseason berth.

With two teams, Washington and New York, targeting their signal callers of the feature, and the Eagles fortifying their offensive line their potential left tackle of the future, this year’s draft could have an impact on the division for the next decade plus; get it right, and things are immediately looking up, but whiff and it’s going to be a long couple years.

But who actually got it right? Did Dallas come away with the best player overall in Cooper, or did a member of this year’s class jump out as not only the best player selected by an NFC East team, but among the best selected in the entire draft based on rankings, scheme fit, and where they were picked?

Let’s take a look at each of the six players selected by NFC East teams in the 2019 NFL Draft and grade each selection.
