5 potential landing spots for Nelson Agholor if Eagles trade wideout
By Dan Parzych
Here are five teams that could use Nelson Agholor if the Philadelphia Eagles decide to trade the former first-round pick.
While the Philadelphia Eagles continue to prepare for the 2019 NFL Draft to see which areas in need of improvement they can address, there have recently been trade rumors surrounding the possibility of the team moving on from Nelson Agholor.
Nothing is set in stone at the moment, but reports came out this week that teams believe Agholor could become available in a potential trade if the Eagles decide to add another receiver in the draft.
Since Philadelphia is already loaded at the position thanks to other players such as Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson on top of the hefty price ($9.4 million) it would be to keep Agholor around for the 2019 season, this scenario makes sense for a lot of reasons.
Agholor certainly deserves credit for turning things around the way he has over the last two seasons since he was quickly labeled a bust after his first two seasons, but also the Eagles know the wideout is replaceable on offense.
No matter what the future holds for Agholor, Philadelphia fans will always appreciate the former USC star for the role he played in helping the organization bring home their first Super Bowl title during the 2017 season.
As for potential landing spots for Agholor if the Eagles do end up deciding to lean towards a trade, well there are plenty of teams that could use help at the wide receiver position.
Starting with the New England Patriots, here are five teams worth keeping an eye on if Agholor is in fact on the trading block for Philadelphia during the draft.
