Round 4, Pick 127: Guard Michael Deiter, Wisconsin

Keeping the trend going with the offensive line, no one would be surprised one bit if the Eagles decided to use two selections in a row to make sure the unit is in the best shape possible.

More than ever, Philadelphia realizes the importance of making sure Carson Wentz receives the best protection possible since the former first-round pick has struggled to remain healthy in each of the last two seasons.

The good news for the Eagles is with Wentz having some extra time to recover this offseason, he should be back to his usual ways in no time by the time training camp arrives.

As for which player Philadelphia should consider in the fourth round if they do decide to focus on the offensive line again, Michael Deiter seems like a strong candidate for the Eagles in the mid rounds if they’re looking to add some depth to the guard position.

The fact that the Wisconsin star has a history of being used at multiple positions makes Deiter an even more intriguing option for Philadelphia since they could possibly move him around if needed.

Deiter has a ton of great qualities that make it seem like he’s on his way to a promising NFL career, so if the Eagle are looking for a potential steal in the fourth round, this is another possibility worth keeping an eye on this weekend.
