It looks like the Philadelphia Phillies will be hosting the 2026 All-Star Game at Citizens Bank Park.

With the Philadelphia Phillies currently enjoying their early success through the first few weeks of the regular season, it looks like the team has some excitement to look forward to down the road in 2026 when it comes to the MLB All-Star Game.

The thought of looking all the way ahead to the 2026 season sounds ridiculous since the Phillies are currently focused on making sure they live up to the high expectations for 2019 now that Bryce Harper is part of the picture.

But with Philadelphia finding out on Thursday that the All-Star Game will be coming to Citizens Bank Park in 2026, the team shouldn’t hold back any excitement, because this has the potential to be an awesome event.

After setting a record-breaking deal at 13-years, $330 million back at the end of February, Phillies fans can’t help but wonder if Harper will be one of the participants throughout week, both in the actual game and Home Run Derby.

Plus, with Citizens Bank Park having a reputation for being a hitter-friendly ballpark, it’s safe to say that players are going to love participating in both events since one can only imagine the high amount of home runs.

Most importantly, if all goes well from now until the 2026 All-Star Game arrives, the Phillies will hopefully have the opportunity to host as a serious contender in the National League.

For years, Philadelphia has been dealing with the rebuilding mode, and while they still have a lot of work to do for the 2019 season since it’s only the middle of April, it’s amazing to finally have some excitement surrounding this team for a change.

Finishing on top of the NL East certainly won’t be easy when seeing how great other teams like the Atlanta Braves and Washington Nationals are playing at the moment, but at least the Phillies are ready for the challenge.

And while Philadelphia still has plenty of time before the 2026 All-Star Game arrives, at least the Phillies will most likely end up with a few All Stars of their own for this year’s event along with some hopeful Home Run Derby participants in Harper and Rhys Hoskins.
