The Philadelphia Eagles will kickoff the 2019 preseason by hosting the Tennessee Titans in August.

Tuesday was an exciting day in the NFL with all 32 teams finding out their opponents for the 2019 preseason, and when it comes to the Philadelphia Eagles, it looks like the team will have quite the work cut out for them once August arrives.

Just like most teams, the Eagles have a few questions in need of answering before next season arrives, one of which happens to be Carson Wentz at quarterback.

For the second year in a row, the former first-round pick dealt with injuries, and with the team allowing Nick Foles to hit free agency before agreeing to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the pressure will be higher than ever for Wentz heading into his fourth NFL season.

Normally, most teams try to limit preseason action for their starters, but if Wentz ended up seeing more action than normal to help get the quarterback into better shape, this wouldn’t come as a surprise at all.

As for which teams Wentz and the Eagles will face, well take a look below at the four lucky winners listed below.

While the Tennessee Titans will be a good early test in Week 1, all eyes will be on that second game when Philadelphia heads down south to face Foles as one of the newest members of Jacksonville.

Even though this will only be a preseason game, one can only imagine the high set of emotions between both parties after looking at the work Foles put in towards the end of the 2017 season to help the Eagles bring home their first Super Bowl title in franchise history.

But most importantly, all eyes will be on Wentz during the preseason since Philadelphia will want to make sure their quarterback is in the best shape possible for 2019 to put the team in the best position possible to earn another trip to the playoffs.

The Eagles as a team never would have moved on from Foles if they didn’t strongly believe that Wentz was capable of helping this offense be one of the best in the league.
