Honorable Mention: Bring Ajayi back

Looking back at all of the key moves that were set into motion during Philadelphia’s Super Bowl run from the 2017 season, the decision to acquire Ajayi in the middle of the year ranks right near the top of the list.

In fact, the argument can even be made that without Ajayi, the Eagles never would have been able to make the epic run they did, although this doesn’t necessarily guarantee that he’ll be back for 2019 since circumstances change.

As mentioned before, Ajayi is coming off a tough injury this past season, and while Philadelphia would love nothing more than to see him return to his normal ways, this unfortunately isn’t the first time a serious injury has occurred on his end.

Rightfully so, it’s easy to understand why the Eagles aren’t jumping the gun by making sure Ajayi returns for his third season with the team, but also this doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t happen.

Depending on what happens with a few of their other options at running back, Philadelphia may end up in a position where they decide that bringing Ajayi back is their only choice.

Of course, if Ajayi becomes fully healthy, and returns to his normal ways, this scenario wouldn’t be a bad thing at all.
