4. Mike Weber

Mike Weber is nowhere close to the same level of Ezekiel Elliott as far as running back is concerned, but the Ohio State star seems like he’s in for quite a successful NFL career for a team in need of a boost in the backfield.

Right behind Armstead, Weber actually tied for third with his time in the 40-yard dash (4.47) on Friday, and for those who followed the running back during his career with the Buckeyes, this really shouldn’t be a surprise one bit.

Numbers wise, Weber may not stand out like some of the other running backs from this year’s draft class after rushing for 954 yards with five touchdowns in 2018, but also keep in mind that he did split carries with J.K. Dobbins, meaning they easily could be higher.

This unselfishness alone is just one of many reasons as to why Philadelphia would be lucky to have another running back like Weber as part of the picture since he wouldn’t mind sharing carries with some of the other current players on the roster.

Plus, since Weber is projected to be a mid-round pick, the Eagles would most likely be able to focus on other areas in the first round if needed.
