Round 4: New Mexico State LB Terrill Hanks

Linebacker is another one of those positions where the Eagles seem to have more questions than answers for the 2019 season since they have a few players who could be on their way out during free agency, depending on how the next month or so goes.

Right away, the one name that immediately comes to mind for Philadelphia is Jordan Hicks, as the team finds themselves in a tough position when it comes to whether it would be worth spending all of that money on the linebacker, or simply take a different approach with someone else.

Just like a few other scenarios regarding the Eagles, no matter what happens with the team in free agency, the team is expected to look to the draft to take advantage of this year’s class filled with plenty of great linebackers.

Terrill Hanks has proven to be one of those players who seems capable of being anywhere on the football field to make the necessary big plays. Hanks only finishing with one sack as a senior at New Mexico State doesn’t stand out like some of the other linebackers in this year’s class, but it should be noted he did finish with seven as a junior.

With this kind of potential with his awareness, Hanks could end up being one of those steals in the mid rounds come April, and could be a perfect risk for the fourth round.
