6. Oakland Raiders

To say the Oakland Raiders turned out to be one of the biggest disappointments from the regular season would be a huge understatement when seeing how the team was hoping to return to their competing level from a few years ago with Jon Gruden on board.

Unfortunately, this didn’t even come close to happening after all of the struggles the Raiders dealt with on both sides of the football, especially on offense.

One of the main reasons why there was so much excitement over the hiring of Gruden was due to his history of quarterback development to help Derek Carr reach a new level. And while some can make the case that Carr deserves more time, there has already been speculation over whether he is actually the one Gruden wants to work with in the long run.

Oakland’s offense is nowhere close to the same level as what Foles has to work with in Philadelphia, but one of the reasons why this team is so intriguing to consider trade wise is the first-round picks the Raiders have to work with.

Thanks to some wheeling and dealing to acquire some extra picks, Oakland has three picks in the first round to work with during April’s draft, meaning unlike most teams, they can afford to give one up if needed.
