9. Cincinnati Bengals

Even though Andy Dalton is under contract with the Cincinnati Bengals for two more seasons, one has to wonder if the team truly believes he has what it takes to be the answer for this offense, especially once a new head coach is found.

Throughout his career, there have been times in which Dalton has been great for this offense, and has even looked like a top quarterback in the NFL, especially when he’s clicking with A.J. Green in the passing game.

However, 2019 will be Dalton’s ninth season in the NFL, and with the Bengals coming off another disappointing season in which they missed out on the playoffs for a third year in a row, it’s tough not to have the conversation over whether a change needs to be considered.

A team like Cincinnati may not seem like the most attractive option for a quarterback like Foles at this point in his career, but also keep in mind from a talent perspective, the Bengals always seemed to have plenty of players with potential to work with.

In a way, Green could be to Foles what Alshon Jeffery has been over the last two years if the chemistry was there, although this scenario is obviously another long shot when seeing how the Bengals would need to move on from Dalton.

Still, it’s fun to think about, right?
