1. Jacksonville Jaguars

Is anyone really surprised to see the Jacksonville Jaguars on top of this list? One year after being on the verge of representing the AFC in the Super Bowl, the Jaguars took a major step back in 2018 on both sides of the football, but nothing was more frustrating than seeing the struggles by Blake Bortles at quarterback.

Just when Jacksonville finally seemed confident in Bortles being their answer under center after taking a major step forward during the 2017 season along with the playoffs, the former first-round pick experienced a year to forget in 2018 that even led to benching at one point.

Rewarding Bortles with that hefty contract extension last February was probably the worst decision the Jaguars could have made since they clearly jumped the gun. But at least when it comes to the NFL, stuff like this happens quite often, and if Jacksonville needs to bite the bullet by moving on from Bortles, it will be fine.

Not to mention, John DeFilippo, who worked with Foles last year in Philadelphia, was recently hired as the new offensive coordinator with the Jaguars, leaving many to believe this could result in the team even more likely to move on from Bortles.

Of all the potential scenarios, a potential reunion with DeFilippo seems like the best potential option for Foles his time with the Eagles does in fact come to an end, meaning the Jaguars could arguably be viewed as one of the favorites.
