Round 4: Wisconsin LB Ryan Connelly

Has Jordan Hicks officially played his last game as a member of the Eagles? Without question, Hicks has certainly seen some great moments over his career in Philadelphia, but also the linebacker has seen his fair share of injuries as well.

Unfortunately, this may end up being one of those situations in which the Eagles decide to move on from Hicks to save a little money, meaning they could look to the draft to help fill their need at the linebacker position.

As usual, the upcoming draft will have plenty of talented linebackers to choose from if Philadelphia were to lean in that direction, and one interesting name to keep an eye on for the mid rounds is Ryan Connelly out of Wisconsin.

Connelly has certain made his presence felt on defense over the last four years with the Badgers when seeing how he looks like the kind of linebacker who gets better with experience.

Some of his tackling skills may need a little improvement, but also it should be noted that Connelly managed to record 21 tackles for loss over the last two seasons at Wisconsin to go along with six sacks.

With this in mind, Connelly could be one of those players worth taking a risky on since from a developmental perspective, the potential is certainly there.
