Philadelphia Eagles officially release list of opponents for 2019 schedule

With the 2018 regular season officially in the books, the Philadelphia Eagles officially know their opponents for 2019.
As the Philadelphia Eagles continue to enjoy the fact they pulled the unthinkable of clinching the final Wild Card spot in the NFC despite their backs being against the wall over the last three weeks, the team also is excited to know who their opponents will be during the 2019 season.
While playoffs are always the main popular topic of discussion this time of the year once Week 17 is officially in the books, fans are also excited to see the list of opponents their team gets to play the following season since division standings are officially set.
Now that Philadelphia has officially finished second in the NFC East behind the Dallas Cowboys, the defending champions know which teams outside of the division they will face during the 2019 season.
To no one’s surprise, the 2019 schedule will be far from easy for the Eagles, but also Doug Pederson’s team always loves a good challenge, so there’s no reason to be worried at this point since it would only be a waste of energy.
Right away, the one thing that sticks out the most is seeing how Philadelphia will face the teams in the AFC East and NFC North, which means they will get to see two of the greatest quarterbacks of all time in Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers.
Also, as difficult as it may be to face the Minnesota Vikings on the road, the Eagles have to be thrilled over the fact they get to host the Seattle Seahawks since that environment is always one of the most hostile in the NFL.
The 2019 season may still be far away, and Philadelphia will be focused on making sure they defeat the Chicago Bears in the Wild Card Round, but it’s difficult to hide the excitement of what will be in store by the time next fall rolls around.
No matter how things play out in January, chances are the Eagles will be one of the early favorites to make a serious run at the Super Bowl when seeing how great this team has looked over the last two seasons.
To be the best, one has to challenge the best, and Philadelphia will certainly be faced with quite a difficult task when looking at some of these playoff-caliber teams they will face in 2019.
