The Philadelphia Eagles travel across the country to take on the Los Angeles Rams. Here are three keys to an improbable Eagles win.

Following a heartbreaking loss last week, that likely knocked them out of the playoffs, the Philadelphia Eagles travel to take on the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night.

They return to the same place where they lost Carson Wentz to a torn-ACL just one-year ago.

Nick Foles finished that game last season and will get the start on Sunday as Wentz is dealing with a back issue. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Thursday that Wentz’s injury is a fractured vertebra and it will sideline him for the indefinite future.

With the Eagles likely out of the playoff conversation, it would appear wise for the Eagles to shut down Wentz for the remainder of the season and let him completely heal. It would not be smart to risk their franchise quarterback in a season that already appears to be lost.

Obviously, Foles just won a Super Bowl last season, but this is a completely different situation he is being thrust into this time around. The Eagles were overall a better team last season, and it was really the perfect situation for Foles to come into.

These last three games will likely be about Foles showcasing himself for future teams as he has an out in his contract after this season. If Foles plays well, then the Eagles can pick up that option and look to trade him.

Some fans are holding out some hope that Foles can lead the Eagles to three-straight wins and sneak them into the playoffs. Then from there, who knows what can happen? To do that, the Eagles are doing to have to pull a major upset on Sunday night.

So, how can the Eagles shock the world and somehow pull off one of the biggest shockers of the season? Continue on for three keys to an Eagles win, plus a prediction!
