Prediction

For two weeks now, the Eagles have been in survival mode. Nothing changes on Sunday as a loss likely ends the Eagles chances of making the postseason. A win, on the other hand, puts the Eagles in first place and allows them to control their own destiny.

This is a different Eagles team than the one that played Dallas four games ago. They have rallied off two straight wins and appear to be starting to figure some things out. It may be late, but if the Eagles can catch fire, then they could be a dangerous team.

It appears that this team enjoys playing with their backs against the wall when everybody is counting them out. That was the case in the playoffs last season and has been the case the last two weeks. That mentality must continue on Sunday.

Dallas has won four in a row, but they have looked far from dominant. Last Thursday they beat the Saints 13-10, and while it was an impressive win, it was not overly dominant. The Dallas offense might not pose a major threat, but the Eagles must be wary of the Cowboys’ defense.

The Eagles will come out and establish the run game with Adams again, helping them put up points on offense. Dallas will score too and the game will be close throughout. This game will come down to which quarterback makes a big play in the end.
