6. Dallas Cowboys

If the Dallas Cowboys were looking to make a major statement about being the team to beat in the NFC East, they certainly did so during Thursday’s over the New Orleans Saints, which also happened to be their fourth in a row. A little over a month ago, there were questions surrounding Jason Garrett, and whether the Cowboys head coach would even be able to survive the rest of the season since the team appeared to be going downhill real fast.

Since that win over the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas has become one of the hottest teams in football with no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Defeating the Saints seems to have taken the confidence level surrounding this team to a whole new level, and if the Cowboys can limit an offense run by Drew Brees to 10 points, it seems like they can keep any unit in check.

With an upcoming meeting with Philadelphia, one can only imagine how difficult it’s going to be for Carson Wentz and the rest of the offense to score if Dallas plays as well on defense as they did against New Orleans. Not to mention, the Eagles’ defense will have their hands full with all of the weapons the Cowboys have to work with.
