NFL Power Rankings, Week 14: Eagles look to keep NFC East race interesting
By Dan Parzych
9. Seattle Seahawks
Looks like the Seattle Seahawks have returned to their old ways of heating up at the right time with the playoffs right around the corner when seeing how great this team has looked in recent weeks. All of a sudden, the Seahawks are in the mix for earning one of the Wild Card spots in the NFC, and even though the team’s latest win came against the San Francisco 49ers, it’s tough to deny how hot this team has looked in recent weeks.
Just how ridiculous was Russell Wilson on Sunday for Seattle? Well, the fact that four of his 11 completions went for touchdown passes shows what kind of day it was for the Seahawks quarterback, as he continues to come up big for his teammates on offense.
Not to mention, Wilson is finally benefitting from having a strong supporting cast in the backfield when seeing how much of a disaster the running back position was for the most part last season.
Earning a Wild Card spot over winning the division may not seem that exciting, but Seattle is the kind of team that can be just as dangerous as a team on the road. So if they go on to clinch one of the two spots in coming weeks, the rest of the NFC better be on alert.
