32. New York Jets

Wins have been tough for the New York Jets this season when seeing how they currently sit on the bottom of the AFC East, and just when it seemed like the team was going to pull off the impressive upset on the road against the Tennessee Titans, everything fell apart. When seeing how the Jets were hanging on to a 19-6 lead in the middle of the third quarter, this was a win Todd Bowles would have loved to see to help him feel a little better about job security.

Once again, New York continues to see how Josh McCown is far from the answer at quarterback, and it’s a shame Sam Darnold hasn’t been healthy enough to suit up over the last couple of weeks since that’s what this season has really been about. After spending years trying to find a quarterback to build the franchise around, the Jets finally landed the former USC star in this year’s draft, although Darnold, like most rookies, clearly is a work in progress.

Losing any player to an injury is always a tough pill to swallow, but it makes it even tougher when it’s someone like Darnold who needs all of the experience possible. Only time will tell when it comes to seeing whether Darnold plays again as a rookie, but when looking at the remaining teams New York has to face, the chances of them winning another game seem slim.
