17. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Make that two wins in a row for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as this is a team that could be fun to watch for the rest of December if they can continue to put together wins like Sunday over the Carolina Panthers. It wasn’t too long ago in which Dirk Koetter appeared to be on his way out as head coach with the Buccaneers losing seven of eight games, but the circumstances are a little different now.

By defeating a playoff-caliber team in Carolina, Tampa Bay will now look to figure out a way to squeeze into the postseason over the next couple of weeks with a 5-7 record heading into Week 14. Getting back into the mix certainly won’t be easy when looking at some of the other teams the Buccaneers have to worry about, but at least Jameis winston seems ready for the challenge.

Since winning back the starting job, Winston has looked like a quarterback on a mission trying to prove that he can still be the answer for Tampa Bay in the long run on offense after there were some doubts earlier in the year. If the Buccaneers can figure out a way to make things interesting with the Saints, it could bring even more excitement to the NFC playoff race.
