See where the Philadelphia Eagles stand for the 2018 NFL Power Rankings heading into Week 14.

It’s crazy to think the NFL Power Rankings for Week 14 are already here, and if the Philadelphia Eagles have anything to say about it, the defending champions hope to move up a few spots by season’s end along with finishing on top of the NFC East. The Dallas Cowboys currently hold a 1.5 game over the Eagles at the moment, but with a win over the Washington Redskins on Monday night, that lead can get trimmed down to a single game.

Philadelphia has no one to blame other than themselves for being in this current position when looking at all of the missed opportunities this season, whether it was blowing a fourth-quarter lead to the Carolina Panthers or losing their first meeting to the Cowboys.

Luckily, the Eagles still have a fighting chance to finish on top of the division when seeing their current position, but if they happen to lose to the Redskins, there’s a good chance the playoffs will be out of reach.

With all due respect to Washington, there’s no reason why Philadelphia should lose a game like this when seeing how the teams compare on paper. And if the Eagles do end up coming through with the win to get back to .500 on the season, it will only help their chances in future NFL Power Rankings.

Watching the Eagles start off the season near the top of the list only to work their way towards the middle in recent weeks is obviously frustrating to see since the talent seemed to be there, and the injuries kept piling up.
