NFL Power Rankings: Philadelphia Eagles keep hope alive in Week 13
11. Baltimore Ravens
After being relegated to spot duty as a gadget player over the first nine games of the 2018 NFL season, the Baltimore Ravens are undefeated in the Lamar Jackson-era and suddenly look like world-beaters after struggling mightily with inconsistency over the first two months of the season.
While he’s been far from perfect so far this season, Jackson has brought a ferocity, passion, and versatility that the Ravens’ offense has been sorely missing ever since Joe Flacco signed a monster extension following the team’s Super Bowl win back in 2013.
Once considered the biggest project of the quarterbacks taken atop the 2018 NFL Draft and a ‘long-term’ project by some less creative pundits during the process, John Harbaugh seems to have unlocked his offenses potential with Jackson under center (I mean in the shotgun) and may have found the second coming of Michael Vick in a Marty Mornhinweg system.
With the Steelers surprisingly vulnerable after a Week 12 loss to the Broncos, the Ravens could still find themselves the winners of the AFC North and save Harbaugh’s job for the foreseeable future, even after agreeing to mutually part ways with the organization earlier this season. At this point, I wouldn’t bet against them.
